In 1979, PRORIL was founded in the coastal city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. What began as a small motor workshop with a simple goal—building reliable submersible pumps—has grown over the years into a respected name in the field. Our journey has been shaped by hard work, hands-on experience, and the belief that progress comes step by step. Today, we offer a complete range of submersible pumps, including dewatering, sewage, and slurry pumps, supported by an end-to-end supply chain and our in-house R&D focused on metal materials and pump technology. We follow practical, well-established quality processes to ensure stable, long-lasting performance in the field. The values passed down from our founder—focus, perseverance, and doing the right thing right—remain at the heart of everything we do. When my wife and I founded FANG CHENG—the predecessor of PRORIL—in 1979, we didn't set out to build something big. We simply believed in doing honest work, staying focused, and doing every job with care. That mindset has guided me ever since. The submersible pump industry is where I've dedicated my life's work. It's not just about machines—it's about people. Through each step of this journey, I've hoped to create something meaningful: to support the growth of our employees, to earn the trust of our clients, and to give back to the society that has supported us. What we build lasts longer when it's built on values. And those values—hard work, respect, and responsibility—are still at the heart of PRORIL today.

In the early days of the business, it started in a bustling market, focusing primarily on motor winding.

The first relocation marked the establishment of Fang Cheng Electric, located at No. 52, Daxin Road, Dashu District, which became the company's registered address.

1985

1989

The second relocation marked the establishment of Fang Cheng Electromechanical Co., Ltd., located at No. 60, Lane 251, Zhongzheng Road, Dashu District, which became the old factory site.

1992

Collaborated with AFEC Enterprises to expand into overseas markets.

Participated in an international exhibition in Singapore for the first time.

Collaborated with Canada's Monarch Industries to enter the North American market.

1998

Collaborated with the Netherlands' Distrimex Pompen & Service B.V. to enter the European market.

2003

Achieved ISO 9001 international certification.

2004

Implemented the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) information system.

Collaborated with Franklin Electric in the United States, establishing a foundation in the OEM market.

2010

Launched the construction project for the headquarters and manufacturing facility.

2012

Initiated the Fuan Cheng brand development project.

Obtained the building permit for the headquarters and commenced construction.

2016

The headquarters construction was completed, and the occupancy permit was obtained.

Officially launched PRORIL, initiating the proprietary brand business.

Received the German iF Design Award.

Won the Japan Good Design Award.

2018

Obtained the building permit for the manufacturing facility and commenced construction.

2021

P51 headquarters completed.

P53 factory starts operation.

Obtain ISO 9906 laboratory certification.
